Rose Congou is actually a scented tea: during the drying process, Chinese black tea leaves are mixed with fresh rose petals. The result is a fragrant, copper cup with a sweet flavor and the delicate scent of fresh roses in a summer garden. The tea is imbued with wonderful floral rose flavor, but balanced so the rose isn't overpowering. There are bits of colorful rose petals included in the loose leaf which add visual interest. This tea is gentle, relaxing and romantic.
