Lapsang Souchong is famous for its strong smoky flavor, reminiscent of a campfire. Unlike most other tea, Lapsang Souchong is typically made from large, tough fully mature leaves (souchong). The leaves are smoked with red pine wood to varying degrees; this organic Lapsang is particularly smoky.
