Fu'an Green

The gorgeous leaves on this tea are a perfect example of a high-quality Chinese green tea—consistent dark emerald color and shaped into delicate spirals. After brewing, the used leaves are vivid green. This tea has a refreshing, almost juicy character, with a creamy sweetness; definitely something to take time and savor! The flavor lingers at the front of the mouth, leaving a vegetal aroma that reminds us of cucumber skin.  

We’ve named this tea for the area of Fujian it’s from: Fu’an, a township near the coast of the province, at an altitude of 700m. It was fired at a lower temperature, allowing it to keep that bright delicacy.
