This unique tea combines the best of black tea with traditional Taiwanese oolong tea. The tea begins with leaves from a Taiwanese Oolong varietal that are fully oxidized like a fine black tea, and then processed using oolong tea methods, resulting in the tightly rolled finished tea. It has a wonderfully consistent, smooth flavor profile, sweet and fresh with notes of barley, bread, and stonefruit. It stands up to many re-steeps (we haven't managed to find a limit), and is extremely forgiving of brewing temperature and long steeping time. This is a new shop favorite!
