This is a traditional style of Tie Guan Yin, lightly oxidized and roasted low and slow to prevent burning the leaves. The brew has a characteristic piney note and tingling mouthfeel with accompanying peachy flavors, roasted sweetness that is sure to please even the most particular tea enthusiast. The infused tea is clean and clear, with a bright golden orange color. Its sweetness and medium roast make it an excellent introductory oolong that is neither too light nor too dark.
