This is a traditional style of Tie Guan Yin, lightly oxidized and slow roasted to bring out a sweet, mellow flavor with notes of spice, toast, banana and osmanthus flower. The infused tea is clean and clear, with a bright golden orange color. The roast is carefully controlled so it's not at all smoky. Newer styles of Tie Guan Yin tend to be bright green and quite floral but this tea is darker and deeper, true to the Tie Guan Yin roots. Its sweetness and medium roast make it an excellent introductory oolong that is neither too light nor too dark.
Ingredients: Oolong tea. No chemical fertilizer, pesticide, or herbicide was used in the production of this tea.
