When they say sweet, they mean it! This tisane has a strange property wherein, if you drink it right after eating something (anything, as far as I've found), it tastes like there's actually sugar in it. I don't find it to be overly licorice-flavored, despite what the description says. The citrus and mint are a lot more striking to me, while the licorice is a pleasant background. That being said, I like licorice, so maybe it's more noticeable if you dislike the flavor. This tisane is especially nice in the evenings.
